Hi Diana! Thank you for sending love for my work. I saved up for a couple of years prior to the trip, worked for trade along the way including housesitting, and did freelance marketing to fill in the gaps.

As far as selecting countries goes, I could have done a much better job of this. I basically stayed in one (quite large) swath of planet Earth and went wherever the wind blew me. If I could do it over again (and I will!), I’ll be more mindful of my path.
